Learning and Teaching Resource for Addition/Subtraction
The construction of this mat was made of A4 printing paper, coloured cardboard, laminate sheets and rubber lego. The pictures I have used are of a lego board and an empty basket.
This mat is to convey the concepts of additon and subtraction. The bricks will be placed on the mat and shifted into the basket for addition.
I decided to use the rubber lego bricks as they would be easy for little fingers to be able to manipulate them on the board.
The lego board was found at this website after using google images. https://www.toysrus.com/buy/building-sets-blocks/lego-bricks-more-blue-building-plate-base-0620-4568102-3934645.
The empty basket was sourced from this site through google images. https://www.123rf.com/stock-photo/empty_basket.html
The rubber lego blocks were purchased along with the green cardboard from Officeworks.
